About
Born in New Orleans and raised in a few cities in Mississippi and Louisiana — Jackson, Hattiesburg, Shreveport, Baton Rouge and Denham Springs, — I've always been interested in people and curious about the world around me. My interest in people from different cultural backgrounds and curiosity about the world led to my passion for storytelling.
When I graduated high school, I decided to enroll in Louisiana State University's (LSU) Manship School of Mass Communication with a concentration in journalism and a minor in international studies. As I progressed in my undergraduate program, I developed a passion for other forms of storytelling, including public relations, digital branding and marketing. This love inspired me to obtain another minor in communication studies.
My coursework and internships provided me with diverse communication experience that strengthened my interpersonal, creativity and critical thinking skills.
Recently, I earned a master's degree and certificate in mass communication with a concentration in strategic communication at the Manship School. I decided to acquire my master's degree to continue morphing into a well-rounded, global strategic communicator.
During my free time, I love reading books, binge-watching TED Talks, listening to podcasts, creating music playlists, exercising and traveling.
